Fresh/ Experienced - Degree/ Diploma in Electrical System Design.

The design of Electrical Systems deals with the study and application Electrical Power System, Electrical Machines, Control systems & Automation, Instrumentation, Microprocessors, Power Electronics, Digital Signal Processing and telecommunications

Introduction to :
  • Electrical System Design and role of electrical engineer in industry, various phases of projects
Client requirements & collection of specific data for projects
Relevant Standards/Codes, their importance and applications.
Detailed study of :
  • Single line diagram
  • Hazardous area classification
  • Selection and sizing of electrical equipments used in various projects
  • Electrical layouts
  • D.C.SYSTEM
  • Cable selection & sizing
  • Selection of cable laying method
Understanding importance of :
  • Data sheet for transformer & motor
  • Intra-discipline co-ordination
Basic Design requirement based on the type of various plants.
Design of :
  • Earthling system, lightning system & lightning protection system
  • Power distribution system
  • High voltage system including substation
Preparation of equipment specifications
Study of:
  • Specialized Engineering like Heat Tracing systems
  • Catholic protection design,
  • Equipment vendor drawing review and approval, Procurement requirements and installation standards, Inspection of equipments & system

Site Visit will be arranged at industrial plant either in shut down or not working conditions.
