Post Graduate Diploma in Non Destructive testing (NDT) - Level I and Level II , Non Destructive testing (NDT) - Level I and Level II

Eligibility :

Fresh/ Experienced, Diploma/ Degree Mechanical, Chemical and Production Engineers are eligible for NDT Level II. Whereas Students who have completed ITI or 12th Science graduations are eligible for NDT Level I.

Non destructive testing is one of the improtant technique used in Mechanical fabrication, Welding in all heavy metal industries. Here the Material is been tested without any damage to the material and to get the desired results.

Objective

  • To be able to apply the requirements of the relevant industry standards to the mechanical testing of equipment used in the process industry.
  • To be able to comply with the set of procedures followed by the manufacturer as per the MOU.
  • To be able to perform the set of testing procedures and produce the report based on them, in order to select or reject the material before processing and finish products after the completion of fabrication.
  • To specify and confirm the appropriate mechanical physical properties of the component pre and post-fabrication.
  • To specify and confirm the appropriate mechanical physical properties of the weld joint post-welding.
  • Learners will have the authority to perform the test and produce the results of the same.
